There are many incredible varieties to choose from. Mostly, decide first if you want a Fish only tank (no coral) or if you want to try your hand at Corals (kinda like underwater gardening!)

How much does an aquarium cost?

Generally speaking... a saltwater complete system (new equipment) is around $1K

The basic components for your Saltwater Aquarium are:

- Tank

- Stand or Cabinet

- Canopy or Glass Top (optional but good to prevent livestock from jumping out)

- Filtration 1 - Sump  (holds all the filtration equipment)

- Filtration 2 - Protein Skimmer  (removes bio waste)

- Filtration 3 - Return Pump  (sends water back to main display after cleaning)

- Saltwater, Rock and Sand

- Light system
